MIX 101.5 Dinosaur
MIX 101.5’s Bryan Lord & Sarah King of Two Men and a Mom take on curling…and a dinosaur.

MIX 101.5 might need to update its tagline to “The Variety that Makes a Dinosaur Feel Good.”  For a bit of fun, a prehistoric visitor has been crashing a few WRAL-FM events.

“Our goal/challenge every day is creating entertainment, and sometimes it takes an out of the box idea, like a dinosaur costume to break through the clutter,” said WRAL-FM Promotions Director Jason Newton.

Here are just a few of examples of the MIX dinosaur in action.

Two Men and a Mom took on WRAL in a curling challenge and at the end a dinosaur shows up! Kyle from Two Men and a Mom had a roaring good time:

The Cinch’s World’s Toughest Rodeo came to town, and MIX had the opportunity to interview some cowboys.  One of them specialized in trick roping.  The perfect place to break out the dinosaur with Bryan from Two Men and a Mom taking one for the team.

“These videos are just some of the reasons why I love my job and radio!” said Newton.

Stay tuned to WRAL-FM for hints about where the MIX dino will show up next!
