Princess Night, $1 Concessions Also Headline Packed Four-Game Stanza

Durham Bulls homestandThe Durham Bulls host the Charlotte Knights for a four-game series beginning on Thursday, July 12. Stranger Things Night headlines the homestand, with Princess Night, $1 Concessions and two fireworks shows also highlighting the promotional schedule.

The four-day series kicks off on Thursday, July 12 at 7:05 p.m. presented by University Temporary Services. Thursday’s contest features $1 Concessions, as Bright Leaf hot dogs, popcorn and Pepsi products are just a dollar all night long.

On Friday the 13th the DBAP celebrates Stranger Things Night during the 7:05 p.m. contest, presented by RELAY. That evening the Bulls will wear specially-designed uniforms based on the character Dustin Henderson from the hit Netflix series, and game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting the UNC Children’s Research Institute. Additionally Belgian Waffle Crafters food truck will be on hand to serve waffles for Food Truck Friday, and the game will be followed by a Friday Night Fireworks show presented by bioMerieux, accompanied by a Stranger Things/80s-themed soundtrack. Further, the DBAP will attempt to set the Guinness world record for largest gathering of people wearing sweatbands at one time in conjunction with a sweatband giveaway courtesy of RELAY.

The series against the Chicago White Sox Triple-A affiliate continues Saturday, July 14 at 6:35 p.m., presented by Michael & Son. After the game will be a Saturday Night Fireworks show, presented by JT’s Landscaping.

The four-game set against the Knights wraps at 5:05 p.m. on Sunday, July 15 with Princess Night, presented by Sheetz. Four princesses will be visiting the DBAP, and will lead a pregame Princess Parade on the field beginning at 4:20 p.m. The princesses will also be available for photo opportunities with fans during the game, as fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite princess. Following the game children get to show off their speed on the DBAP infield with Kids Run the Bases presented by Nature’s Twist.

The Bulls return from the All-Star break on Thursday, July 12, when they open a four-game series against the Charlotte Knights. Single-game tickets, 919 Club memberships and group outings are available now at durhambulls.com or by calling 919.956.BULL.
