A new pop-up vendor has moved into American Tobacco Campus. MicMag by Me is a local furniture store founded by Kerri Hall, whose father worked in the furniture industry.
Hall has been in the furniture industry for more than 25 years. MicMag sells customizable furniture designed and handmade in North Carolina directly shipped to customers’ homes for easy assembly.
NOW OPEN: @Micmagbyme is the newest biz in American Tobacco’s popup series on Blackwell Street. Owner Kerri Hall tells me the company makes upholstered furniture, and will ship it anywhere in the U.S. They say it can be assembled in minutes. @WRALOutandAbout #Durham pic.twitter.com/K4wdC3bkOl

Special to the American Tobacco location, MicMag will have a “mini” chair in the showroom that people can paint. At the end of the pop-up’s run, the chair will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Durham.
MicMag by Me’s pop-up location will be open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. through Oct. 27.
Every Monday there will be “Mommy and Me Time” and on Wednesdays there will be “Women, Wine and Wisdom” events featuring a local female speaker.
