Prestigious Law Firm with Rocky Mount Origins to Locate Office to Historic Campus
Rocky Mount Mills is excited to announce and welcome Poyner Spruill as they locate their 30-person office to our historic campus.
Poyner Spruill will occupy 8,000sf of the completely redeveloped Mill building alongside Envolve Vision, the Rocky Mount Telegram and Life 103.1.
“Poyner Spruill’s roots in Rocky Mount are deep, dating back to the early 1900s,” says Tim Wilson, Poyner Spruill’s Rocky Mount partner. “Since that time we have continued, uninterrupted, in our presence, service and leadership here in Rocky Mount and Eastern North Carolina. With this move to the historic Rocky Mount Mills, we are renewing and strengthening our commitment here.”
Adds Matt Honeycutt, real estate development manager, Rocky Mount Mills/Capitol Broadcasting Company, “Poyner Spruill is a pillar of the community in Rocky Mount, and we’re thrilled to have them join the family of companies moving to the Mills.”
Capitol Broadcasting Company (CBC) is leading the reinvention of Rocky Mount Mills — the same development team that transformed Durham’s American Tobacco Campus into an award-winning national model for historic rehabilitation.
“We at Poyner Spruill are thrilled to be part of the Rocky Mount Mills project,” says Dan Cahill, the firm’s managing partner. “We are excited about continuing our century-old presence in Rocky Mount in a beautiful, historic building on the Tar River. The Mill area offers a vibrant view of the renewal taking place in Rocky Mount.”
Poyner Spruill will join Nash County Travel & Tourism, Envolve Vision, The Rocky Mount Telegram and Life 103.1 as the first corporate tenants of the campus. Poyner Spruill will be ready to meet clients by QX 2019.
