Rokerthon
WRAL-TV’s Aimee Wilmoth shared this photo in anticipation of her participation in the Rokerthon on Monday, June 21, 2021, as NBC’s Al Roker attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the longest online weather reporting relay.

WRAL-TV Weather Executive Aimee Wilmoth will assist NBC Weatherman Al Roker in his attempt to break a world record on Monday, June 21, 2021.  Wilmoth will take part in Rokerthon, the bid to create the world’s longest online weather reporting relay.

“So excited about this!” posted Wilmoth of the adventure.

She and more than 50 forecasters will attempt to break the Guinness World Record title with Roker on NBC’s TODAY and on TODAY.com.  On the first official day of summer, Wilmoth will be doing her forecast live at the DBAP on Monday morning.

Thanks to WRAL-TV Aimee Wilmoth for this Capcom photo.
