Construction continues on the Miracle League of the Triangle Field at the Durham Bulls.  Corp Vice President of Special Projects George Habel snapped some photos of the work underway on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.  He tweeted, “Making tangible progress on Miracle League Field at the Durham Bulls.”

The Durham Bulls and Capitol Broadcasting Company led the way to make the field a possibility, making a significant donation, helping with fundraising as well as construction design and planning.

The field is located at the corner of Blackwell Street and Morehead Avenue, across the intersection from the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Work on the site began in February of this year.

The Miracle League of the Triangle provides an opportunity for children and adults with special needs to play baseball.  The nonprofit has a goal to serve 1,000 families per season and this additional field will help accomplish that goal.

Thanks to Corp’s George Habel for these Capcom photos.
