For the second year in a row Capitol Broadcasting employees will be unable to volunteer in person during PBS North Carolina’s spring fundraiser due to the pandemic, but CBC will remain a special part of the campaign. The 2022 CBC/WRAL Night at PBS North Carolina takes place tonight, Monday, March 7.
WRAL-TV Anchor/Reporter Lena Tillett pre-recorded comments for the evening’s broadcast, during which she will present the $10,000 contribution from Capitol Broadcasting and WRAL-TV.
Despite the changes brought on by COVID, CBC remains committed to supporting our state’s public media network.
“In this age of an increased focus on accessibility and inclusivity, PBS NC remains steadfast in their core commitment to educate, inform and entertain all audiences across NC,” said Corp Vice President of Social Responsibility Loretta Harper-Arnold. “Our commitment continues a longstanding tradition of encouraging viewer support of quality public television programming.”
