Comedian and television personality Sherri Shepherd stopped by WRAL-TV on Friday, July 29, 2022, before her appearance as the featured speaker for the 25th Annual Women’s Empowerment Conference in Raleigh.  She helped WRAL draw the winner for VIP tickets to the event.

While at WRAL she also worked with Creative Services staffers to shoot promos for her new daytime talk show “Sherri” that premieres on September 12 on FOX 50.

Shepherd spoke to WRAL-TV Anchor Renee Chou for segments at the station and then chatted with WRAL-TV Reporter Lora Lavigne on Saturday, July 30, from the conference at the PNC Arena.  She is best known as a former co-host of “The View,” but also appeared in the TV show “30 Rock” and the 2009 film “Precious.”
