The season for outdoor entertainment is back, and October 8 marks the return of the popular Mill Music Sessions at Rocky Mount Mills. All concerts are free and open to the public.
Organizers from Deep South Entertainment have pulled together a rollicking lineup of family-friendly musical entertainment featuring national acts, designed to foster community and take advantage of the expansive and scenic green space on the Mills campus.
Four concerts are planned for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.
Concerts take place on Rocky Mount Mills’ scenic lawn from 7:00pm -9:00pm. Bring a lawn chair, a blanket, grab a bite to eat, sip on your favorite brew and join us for an evening of music and fun!
Local artist will kick the day off earlier (Time TBD) in the Smokestack Courtyard or Beer Garden at Rocky Mount Mills. These outdoor concerts are free, open to the public and family friendly.

As one of North Carolina’s most beloved roots music outfits, Chatham Rabbits has swiftly
emerged from the fertile Americana scene in the Triangle.
The husband-and-wife duo of Sarah and Austin McCombie favors rustic, minimalist acoustic arrangements—mainly
clawhammer-style banjo and guitar that showcase deftness and maturity with their songwriting. The duo has a way of connecting with their audiences that is warm and universal.
Yarn

Yarn, a music group from Brooklyn, New York now based in North Caroline, playing passionate but heartfelt bluegrass-influenced music with a gentle spirit but a rock & roll heart.
You might expect a band that calls itself Yarn to, naturally, tend to spin a yarn or two. “that’s what we do, we tell stories, live and in the studio, truth and fiction” singer/songwriter Blake Christiana insists.
