Capitol B Creative Studios and WRAL Digital will invest up to $1 million in dollar-for-dollar matching support to American Rescue Plan grant recipients and those of other state, federal and private grant programs aimed at encouraging economic stimulus.

Capitol B Creative Studios and WRAL Digital will invest up to $1 million in dollar-for-dollar matching support to American Rescue Plan grant recipients and those of other state, federal and private grant programs aimed at encouraging economic stimulus.

ARPA, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, provides economic stimulation and recovery funds to communities negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through this $1 million commitment, Capitol B will partner with grant recipients who elect to use their funds on multi-media driven marketing strategies and economic campaigns, effectively doubling their marketing and communications funds. The result of these partnerships will be robust campaigns targeted at economic recovery including but not limited to entrepreneurial and small business acceleration, workforce development, talent attraction, increased tourism, and improved communications infrastructure.

“It’s a profound opportunity,” said James Amato, director of strategy and business development for Capitol B Creative Studios. “Branding, communications, digital infrastructure, and multi-media marketing efforts play a key role in stimulating economic activity. We have a proven track record for working with partners in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to help them move the needle on their economic goals. We were very intentional to design this program around the needs and expectations we know these organizations have and that we strive to exceed every day. Coupled with this generous investment, we have the team and the experience to help communities exceed their goals and look forward to the collaborations and resulting success to come.”

Applications are now open on the Capitol B Creative Studios website. Once approved, agencies can expect the full data-driven, creative support of Capitol B Creative Studios and WRAL Digital through the planning, implementation, fulfillment, and evaluation of their campaign.

Chris Weatherly, vice president of WRAL Digital said, “These matching funds are part of our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve. We know that their success is our success, and I’m thrilled we can offer a program like this.”

Capitol B Creative Studios was launched in 2021 by Capitol Broadcasting Company with a mission to provide clients strategic brand, marketing and creative solutions guided by the company’s unique user insights gained from its robust portfolio of media websites and apps and the company’s undisputed legacy of community storytelling.
