The Holly Springs Salamanders wrapped another great season on Sunday, August 6, 2023. The final game might have been a loss on the scoreboard, but the evening was a big win for the fans and the team, sharing one last night at the ballpark together.
Salamanders General Manager Shari Massengill had kudos all the way around for a successful summer in Holly Springs.
“Overall, we had a great season even though we had a rough start with rain interrupting Opening weekend,” she said. “For the first time ever we sold 35,000 tickets. Holly Springs and the surrounding communities continue to be supportive of Salamanders Baseball. We are lucky to have a great group of host families that host our players and a coaching staff that is passionate about baseball and helping players perfect their skills.”
