WRAL-TV Senior Promotion Operations & Event Coordinator Catherine Fitzhenry is a linchpin in WRAL’s support for events in the Triangle community. She recently shared about helping represent the Big 5 at the St. Jude Walk/Run in Raleigh on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
The most significant battles can only be won when we stand together. For the past two years, WRAL-TV has had the privilege of being a Community Partner of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This past weekend was an absolute blast as we rallied behind their annual Triangle Run/Walk event!
Months of planning and marketing efforts paid off, and we’re thrilled to share that the Triangle community came together to raise an astounding $187,208.74 for the research hospital. This is a testament to the compassion and commitment of our community, and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it!
As September marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, there’s still time to make an impact.
