Country artist Ryan Shupe sings “And when you dream, dream big.” And that’s exactly the philosophy WRAL-TV and MIX 101.5 are taking with the 2008 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
The goal: 500 team members & $40,000
“As I say,” said WRAL-TV Creative Director & TEAM WRAL Coordinator Shelly Leslie, “if you’re going to go for it, go BIG!”
WRAL-TV Anchor/Reporter Pam Saulsby, a regular at the Race for the Cure, is sharing her training trials & triumphs on WRAL.com. |
An Anchor for Team WRAL
WRAL-TV Anchor/Reporter Pam Saulsby is currently training for the Race for the Cure. She’s sharing her progress with WRAL viewers via her blog on WRAL.com. She’s only missed one Race over the years. Her goal this year is to run the entire route without stopping.
“If someone were to ask me the question, why do you run? I would say I run because I see a magnificent light of transformation on the faces of women who have survived breast cancer,” said Saulsby. “Short of a cure, I wish that light could shine on everyone who battles this disease.”
“I run as an agent of change.” WRAL-TV’s Pam Saulsby
