Bulls Radio Show Returns to Tyler’s Taproom for Third Season
|
Tyler’s Taproom, located across the street from the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, will host its radio show with Bulls players and coaches for a third straight season.
“Tyler’s is excited to be hosting our third year of Bulls Beat,” said owner Rob Stover. “Everyone has fun meeting and talking to the players and coaches, away from the field, on a more personal level.”
Different coaches and players will visit with Bulls broadcaster Neil Solondz at Tyler’s on Saturdays from noon-1 when the team is home during the regular season.
“Tyler’s has been a great partner since opening in American Tobacco,” said Bulls General Manager Mike Birling. “We’re excited to have a great family place where our players get to meet our fans outside of the playing field.”
Tyler’s opened during the 2005 season, and hosted Bulls Beat in 2006 and 2007. The company, which first opened in Carrboro, will add its third location in Apex before the 2008 season.
While the show will be broadcast from the same location in Durham throughout 2008, the broadcast will be heard on one of its new partners, 99.9 The Fan. The new 99.9 The Fan is carrying Friday-Sunday Bulls broadcasts this year.
The following is a list of dates where the show can be heard on 99.9 The Fan, or seen in person at Tyler’s from 12-1 on Saturdays when the Bulls are home:
