Free Lunch at Fanfest 2008
|
Bulls fans can get a head start on individual ticket sales for the 2008 season at Fanfest on February 29th. |
The Durham Bulls recently announced Fanfest 2008, the annual “Opening Day” for individual ticket sales, will be held on Friday, February 29th from 11:00am-2:00pm at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Once again anyone who purchases at least one ticket will get a free lunch of ballpark favorites at the concession stands. Hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries, nachos, popcorn and soda will all be available at Wool E.’s International Café in the food court.
Fans interested in getting even more value can purchase a Pepsi Family Four Pack. Available only at Fanfest 2008, get four tickets to any Durham Bulls home game, four Bulls caps and four six-packs of Pepsi for only $44.
Fans will also have the opportunity to win a brand new, 2008 Saturn Sky if they can hit a homerun off the famous Snorting Bull in left field. Saturn of Durham and Chapel Hill, the official automobile sponsors of the Durham Bulls, will also have the Sky available for a test drive at the ballpark.
“There is nothing like a free lunch and a chance to hit the Bull,” Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling said, “It’s the first day fans can buy individual tickets at the box office and with the Yankees coming to town to play the Bulls on Opening Night, we’re expecting a good turnout.”
Other events scheduled for the 2008 Fanfest include:
- Wool E. Bull and Blue Monster posing for pictures and signing autographs.
- Up to 20% off selected Bulls Merchandise.
- Select-a-Seat event highlighting available season ticket and mini-plan seat locations.
- Create a video message to run on the giant video board in left field on Opening Night.
The Bulls open the 2008 home season on Friday, April 11th with a 7:05pm game against the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees. For questions regarding the 2008 Durham Bulls Baseball Season, please call 956-BULL (2855).
