Microspace Supports Digital Signage in New Association |
Everywhere you go these days, Digital Signage Displays are becoming increasingly common. In doctors offices, stadiums, office lobbies, restaurants and retail stores, advertisers are utilizing new ways to get in front of the consumer. Since almost 70 percent of purchasing decisions are made on the spot, putting the advertising directly in front of a buyer at the time of purchase will continue to gain acceptance for this emerging technology. And Microspace has a very economical delivery method to get the content anywhere in the world to an unlimited number of locations.
The Digital Signage Association is a new organization serving the $1.1 billion digital signage industry. The association plans to be an advocate for industry issues, increase awareness of the medium and its effectiveness, and provide its members with networking and education opportunities. Association members will have access to expert advice, knowledge, networking, and trade show and research discounts. Greg Weaver, Manager of Digital Signage Networks at Microspace Communications, serves on the Board of Directors along with other executives from organizations such as IBM, Dynasign, Broadsign, Scala and Netkey.
