NC WANTED Now on WILM
|
NC WANTED can now be seen on two CBC stations. The locally created FOX 50 program which airs on Saturday nights after WRAL’s 10 O’Clock News on FOX50, now also airs on Saturday nights after WRAL’s 11 O’Clock News on WILM-TV, its sister station in Wilmington.
“We are thrilled to be expanding across the state,” said NC WANTED Senior Producer David Creech. “We expect to air in more North Carolina markets as the show continues to grow. More stations and more coverage means more fugitives will be caught. That’s good for everybody!”
NC WANTED includes stories about North Carolina’s most wanted fugitives, cold cases and many aspects of the criminal justice system. Producers of NC WANTED work closely with local law enforcement agencies as well as John Walsh and the producers of AMERICA’S MOST WANTED to provide crucial information in the fight against crime.
So far NC WANTED has resulted in 5 captures on its Target Twenty list. The program has received public praise from Wake Country Sheriff Donnie Harrison, the U.S. Marshals and the SBI.
The weekly show is hosted by veteran WRAL-TV anchor Gerald Owens. Produced by FOX 50 (WRAZ-TV) staff, NC WANTED is part of the powerful Saturday night line-up of COPS & AMERICA’S MOST WANTED for a full night of crime-prevention programming allowing viewers to make a difference nationally… and locally.
This multi-platform campaign includes a weekly, prime time TV show, a comprehensive website, and a 24/7 crime-tip hotline.
