Whether tuning into the radio or turning on the television set, Triangle families love CBC. Both WRAL-FM and WRAL-TV recently received top honors in Carolina Parent magazine as Family-Favorite winners.
Readers were asked to vote on what stores, services and destinations and people they trust and turn to most often. Hundreds of parents in the Triangle cast ballots and the results were published in the November 2006 issue of Carolina Parent magazine.
WRAL-FM MIX 101.5 won in the Radio Station for Families category, and WRAL-TV won for Best TV Station for Families.
“We’re proud of your commitment to making life better, easier, happier, healthier, more tasty and more fun for families in the Triangle,” Carolina Parent Editor Cathy Ashby and Publisher Liz Holt told the winners. “Your dedication to quality customer service is evident from the number of votes that were cast in your favor.”
