FOX 50 is kicking off the fall television season with a double dose of local news for your morning. WRAL’s 7am News on FOX 50 expands to two hours beginning Monday, August 28, 2006.
The only local news on at 7am also becomes the only local news on at 8am. Bill, Lynda, Valonda, Mark & Elizabeth will have all the latest news, weather, traffic, and a lot more!
The 8am hour will have a different feel from the preceding three hours of morning news, which includes the WRAL Morning News on WRAL-TV from 5-7am and the first hour of the news on FOX 50.
At 8am WRAL via FOX 50 will continue to provide viewers with the most up-to-date local and national news. The second hour will include a new viewer interaction segment with updates on the top stories on the Web. Through out the week WRAL’s 7am News on FOX 50 will have special segments including features on new gadgets, CD/DVD release and small town focuses. WRAL-TV’s Monica Laliberte will join the anchor team on Monday’s with the latest consumer news.
