The Durham Bulls return to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park from an eight-game road swing on June 9th when they meet South Division rival Norfolk Tides for a four-game series. June 9th is Fireworks Friday, and the first 500 fans will receive a free pop-up flier courtesy of Triangle Orthopaedics. On Saturday night the Bulls celebrate the Triangle’s rich Negro League past as they honor several living legends of the Durham Rams, Black Sox and Eagles. During the game, the Bulls and Tides will wear jerseys from the Negro Major Leagues. On Sunday, Reggy and his Fur Flying Fun will be at the DBAP, and after the game we’ll have Pepsi Kids Run the Bases.
The Bulls will take on Buffalo for a four-game set June 13th-16th. Tuesday is Harris Teeter VIC Card Night. Show your VIC Card at the box office and receive two tickets for the price of one courtesy of Harris Teeter. On Wednesday the Bulls celebrate Flag Day with a 1:00pm game. Wednesday is a Humana Silver Bulls day, so club members will get a chance to be part of the Senior Field of Dreams and take the field with the Durham Bulls for the National Anthem. Thursday night is a big night at the ballpark as the Bulls and The Herald-Sun select the 2006 Father of the Year. Thursday is also TIAA-CREF Family Night, so hot dogs, french fries and popcorn are just $1.00 each. After the game, the Bulls will light up the sky with a special post-game fireworks show. They close out the homestand on Friday night with fireworks after the game!
After two days off, the Bulls will host a two-game series with the Charlotte Knights. On Monday, June 19th come early as the Bulls will play two! See the conclusion of the April 22nd postponed game beginning at 6:00pm, then the regularly scheduled game immediately afterwards. Tuesday night is another Harris Teeter VIC Card Night at the DBAP.
After an off day on the 21st, Durham hits the road for an eight-game road swing June 22nd-June 29th before returning home for an eight-game stretch beginning on June 30th against the Norfolk Tides. Friday night they kick off the homestand with our third Time Warner Cable Weekend featuring the one and only SpongeBob SquarePants!
