PelicansFest 2002 Slated For Saturday |
This Saturday, March 9, Myrtle Beach Pelicans fans will be invited to the ballpark for fun, games and the kick-off of individual game tickets for the Pelicans upcoming season. PelicansFest 2002 will begin at 10:00am and run til 3:00pm at Coastal Federal Field.
Mascots Splish, Splash and Dinger the Home Run Dog will be on hand to greet the crowd. Fans will get a first shot at this season’s between inning games and promotions including Big Glove Boxing, Sumo Wrestling and Hamster Ball Bowling. The new Moonbounce will also be unveiled. Tryouts will also be held for National Anthem singers.
Fans will enjoy free Berk’s hot dogs, Papa John’s pizza, Houston’s peanuts and Pepsi soft drinks. Individual game tickets will be on sale, and the pro shop will have a clearance sale on all 2001 merchandise and will introduce the 2002 merchandise.
