Pelicans Recognize Area Educators
MYRTLE BEACH, SC — The Myrtle Beach Pelicans’ game versus the Lynchburg Hillcats on Tuesday, April 24th has been designated “Education Appreciation Night” – sponsored by the Myrtle Beach office of the Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough Law Firm. All Horry County Teachers and school system employees will be admitted at no charge that night with the presentation of a valid employee ID or pay stub.
In addition to the free admission, half of all the day of game ticket revenue collected on April 24th will be donated to Horry County Schools courtesy of Nelson Mullins and the Pelicans. The event was created to provide an evening of relaxation, recreation, and special recognition for the commitment these teachers and school employees make each day to the children of our community.
All Horry County teachers and employees should show their ID or pay stub at the Coastal Federal Field Box Office to receive their complimentary pass (limit one free ticket per employee). Box, Terrace, Reserved and General Admission tickets are all available for that evening’s ballgame.
The Pelicans’ box office will open for business at 10 AM on April 24th. The stadium gates open at 5:30 PM with game time slated for 7:05 PM.
“Nelson Mullins is proud to extend this invitation to the teachers and employees of Horry County Schools,” said Tom Moran, managing partner of the firm’s Myrtle Beach office. “We want everyone to come out, have fun and show their support for our public schools.”
