Your Ticket To Fun
MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Myrtle Beach Pelicans third season on The Grand Strand begins on April 6, 2001, and ticket sales for the 70-game home schedule have already begun. The Full Season Basic, Full Season Gold, group tickets, picnic packages and mini-plans are presently available and all offer new incentives.
The Full Season Basic plan costs $490 for renewals and $525 for new customers. An invitation to an exclusive “Get to Know the Pelicans” party is one of many incentives in this package. In addition, fans purchasing this package will have first dibs on playoff tickets.
The Full Season Gold is a brand new option for 2001 and costs $595 for renewing season ticket holders and $630 for first time buyers of a full season plan. The gold plan is limited to the first 100 tickets sold. This plan includes special parking privileges, guaranteed promotional giveaway items, discounts at The Pelicans Pro Shop and more. The gold plan has been a popular option as approximately 90% of renewing season ticket holders have upgraded to the gold plan.
Businesses, families and religious groups, to name a few, have found an affordable option in attending a Pelicans game as a group. Groups are defined as 20 or more people and the group rate costs $4 per person (down from $5) for the months of April and May (except for April 6 & 7). The group rate is $5 per person for the months of June – September.
The mini-plans are broken down into five, 10, 20 and 30-game options. The mini-plans range in cost from $32.50 to $195.00 (that’s $6.50 per game) and the ticket location is terrace seating. Those who select this option can choose any games of their liking. There is no guarantee that they can reserve the exact seat for each game of their package, but odds are much better if they act early.
The Pelicans regular season 70-game home schedule spans from April 6 through September 1. Individual game tickets will not be made available for purchase until March of 2001.
For more information or to purchase any of the above ticket plans, please call the Pelicans ticket box office at 843-918-6000 or the Pelicans Director of Ticketing Gary Saunders at 843-918-6014.
