Although the Durham Bulls 2015 season is over, the new Bull Durham Beer Company created at the ballpark is still going strong.
Starting Thursday, October 8, 2015, Bull Durham Beer Co. launched the Boxtoberfest Beer Garden at the Contemporary Art Museum in downtown Raleigh. They will be open Thursday and Friday evening from 5pm to 10pm, and Sunday afternoon from noon to 5pm throughout the month of October, and into November.
We checked in with Bull Durham Beer Co. Brand Manager Brad Farran to find out what’s happening with the new brews while the baseball team is on the off-season:
Taylor Swift said it best, “Can’t stop, Won’t stop.”
At Bull Durham Beer Co., we take that to heart. Now that we’ve cultivated a following, we’re going to keep delivering all year round. Our first venture will be a pop-up Octoberfest beer garden in conjunction with the Contemporary Art Museum in Raleigh. BDBC has purchased the Wanderbox, a modified shipping container cum taproom.
While our beer garden is running, Bull Durham Beer Co. will also begin distributing its kegs to Triangle restaurants and bars. We are very excited to spread the gospel of simple, delicious, unfussy beers outside the ballpark to our fans.
In 2016, BDBC fans can anticipate our beer hitting retail shelves in 16oz cans. We are developing a year-round taproom adjacent to the Aloft Hotel lobby, also slated for a 2016 opening.
Baseball season may be over, but the beer game never ends. I’m gonna email Taylor. She should use that in the song we’ve commissioned her to write for us.
