Bulls Pair with Local First Responders for Interactive Pregame Event
The Durham Bulls will host a Touch A Truck event on Sunday, June 25 at 3 p.m. in conjunction with local public safety agencies. The event will precede the team’s contest that evening at 5:05 p.m. against the Charlotte Knights, in which Kids Run the Bases follows the contest.
That afternoon Blackwell St., located immediately outside the DBAP, will be filled with over 15 vehicles from local agencies, including an investigation’s truck, hazardous materials unit, rescue truck and more. The event is designed to allow children of all ages to touch and explore vehicles of their choice, while also learning about the vehicles and employees who operate them.
Agencies scheduled to be in attendance include the Durham Sheriff’s Office, Bahama Fire Department, Lebanon Fire Department, Durham Fire Department, Durham Police Department, Durham EMS, the Durham County Fire Marshal’s Office, Durham County Emergency Management and Durham Fire and Rescue.
The Touch A Truck event is open to the public and will last until 5 p.m. Tickets for that evening’s game can be purchased here.
The Durham Bulls return to the DBAP for a seven-game homestand on Monday, June 19. Single-game tickets and group ticket packages are available now. For more information visit durhambulls.com, the Frontier Communications Ticket Office, or call 919.956.BULL.
