FOX 50 recently helped sponsor the largest educational conference in North Carolina for middle and high school Hispanic students. On the morning of Friday, March 22, 2013, over 700 of the students from about 26 North Carolina counties gathered at N.C. State’s McKimmon Center for the 14th Annual Hispanic Educational Summit.
The North Carolina Society of Hispanic Professionals (NCSHP) put the summit together to encourage students to stay in school and make the most of their educational opportunities. The students got an opportunity to learn about education & career planning and see variety of exhibits about academic programs and services.
