Four scholarships of $2,500 to be awarded to eligible Durham or Wake County students planning to major in STEM-based field
The Durham Bulls and Lenovo are partnering to award four scholarships of $2,500 to eligible students planning to major in a STEM-based field for the 2023-24 school year and reside in Durham or Wake County. Applications are now being accepted and must be submitted by Friday, June 2, 2023.
“We are thrilled to undertake this scholarship program with Lenovo to support students planning to study in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering or Math,” said Durham Bulls General Manager Tyler Parsons. “Education is paramount to our community’s success and we can’t thank Lenovo enough for partnering with us on this initiative.”

The Lenovo STEM Scholarship Program is open to residents of Durham and Wake counties under the age of 25 who have been accepted to and registered as first-year students to a four-year or community college for the 2023-24 school year who are planning on majoring in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math-based field. Recipients will be honored at a presentation at the Durham Bulls’ game scheduled for Thursday, July 25.
Completed applications and supporting documents must be submitted online, emailed or postmarked no later than Friday, June 2, 2023.
