MIX Holding BackPack Buddies Food Drive Today

Show your support for hungry children in our community with MIX 101.5 today, Thursday, August 23, 2012. MIX personalities are broadcasting live from two Triangle locations where they are collecting food and backpacks in the annual MIX 101.5 BackPack Buddies Food Drive.
MIX will be collecting donations at Crabtree Valley Mall (in front of Macy’s) and Crossroads Plaza (in front of Old Navy) from 6am-6pm.

Through the BackPack Buddies Program the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle provides wholesome, nutritious meals to students in our community. The backpacks are loaded with food and sent home with children over the weekend so they can eat on days they aren’t in school. If not for this program, many Triangle children would go hungry over the weekends.
