Bicyclists and ballyhoo will descend on American Tobacco and Diamond View Park on Saturday, June 23, 2012. The Tour de Fat is coming back to Durham!
The New Belgium Tour de Fat calls itself a pedal powered FUNdrasier of sustainable folly. The fun begins at 10am in the Diamond View Park in downtown Durham, but registration starts at 9am. After the 10am parade, mainstage shows start at 11am and then side shows an hour later. The afternoon includes a bike ride, and the fun wraps with a finale at 3:30pm.
The 2012 event benefits the North Carolina Active Transportation Alliance.
