CBC President & CEO Jim Goodmon recently became the subject of two separate articles. TIME Magazine’s Joe Klein came through Durham on Saturday, June 2, 2012, and blogged about his chat with Goodmon. Then Durham Magazine recently posted an interview with Goodmon and his son, American Tobacco Vice President of Real Estate Michael Goodmon.
The younger Goodmon told Durham Magazine, “I was raised, personally and professionally, to believe that a company cannot be successful unless the community around it is successful.”
Both interviews demonstrate how vital that central tenant is to the Goodmons way of thinking.
