WRAL-FM Helps Make-A-Wish with MIX 101.5 Miles For Smiles

During the month of June, MIX 101.5 will be running a PSA / web / social networking campaign encouraging listeners to donate their frequent flyer miles to MIX 101.5’s Miles For Smiles. This campaign will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina through the Wishes in Flight program.
In the next 12 months, they are projecting that 88% of all wishes will include airline tickets (about 5 per wish). That means that they need more than 33 million frequent flyer miles to the cover the cost of this year’s upcoming wishes.
During the month of June alone, 25 local children will have their wishes granted . . . 22 of those involve travel! Your gift of miles will allow these children and their families to travel to Jamaica, New York City, Disney World, the Grand Canyon, Rome and more!
