Construction is underway on the latest addition to the business and high-tech hub around the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
The Diamond View III will stand five stories high and provide 133,000 of mixed-use space, according to SmithGroupJJR, the building’s designer.
Construction is expected to be finished by mid-2013.
One major tenant already has been announced – FHI 360, which will locate its headquarters and 400 employees in 95,000 square feet of the building’s space, according to SmithGroupJJR.
Two other Diamond View buildings already overlook Bulls stadium.
The Diamond Views are part of the American Tobacco Historic District, which is operated by Capitol Broadcasting, the parent firm of WRAL Tech Wire.
