MIX 101.5 Annual Lipstick Luncheon Once Again a Hit with Listeners

MIX 101.5 hosted their 5th Annual Lipstick Luncheon, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Raleigh Convention Center. This year’s luncheon, once again sponsored by Rex Healthcare and Crabtree Valley Mall, gathered over 700 women for a day of food, fashion and fun!

As in years past, attendees arrived early for an informal breakfast and shopping in the vendor area filled with over 45 local businesses. The vendor booths featured jewelry, local baked goods, clothing, home accessories and more!

The program kicked off with ‘Rex Gets Real About Nutrition” with Rex Healthcare dietician, Shelly Wegman. Wegman also invited audience members to participate in a round of Nutrition Jeopardy.

As word continues to spread about the Lipstick Luncheon, the event moves to larger venues accomodate the crowd.

After a shopping break, attendees were then treated to a delicious lunch while listening to best-selling author and motivational speaker Nicole Johnson.

The program also concluded with dessert and the Crabtree Valley Mall Fashion Show featuring MIX 101.5 personalities and staff members.
