The Durham Bulls will go to the dogs for the annual Bark in the Park on Aug 25th. |
August is known as the dog days of summer, and this August you can have a dog day at the DBAP as the Durham Bulls host the annual Bark in the Park night on Thursday, August 25, 2011, when the Bulls take on the Charlotte Knights at 7:05pm.
Dog owners and their canine companions can come to the game for only $12, with $5 from each ticket purchased going to Second Chance Pet Adoptions. Or, for $25, add an all-you-can-eat picnic (humans only) from 6pm until 8pm.
Plus, meet the Durham Bulls Canine Mascot Lucky Jr. the Wonder Dog, take pictures of your canine at the game that will display on the video board using the Liveshare by Cooliris smartphone application and dress up your dog for a chance to win the inaugural “Prettiest Pooch” competition on the field.
Tickets can be ordered online by entering the promo code BARK, by phone at 956-BULL or at the Durham Bulls Box Office.
