Do you have it? Two local singers and an all-female group will get the chance to prove it in Dallas, TX on May 26, 2011, as the grand prize winners of the first ever FOX 50 THE X FACTOR AUDITION PASS CONTEST!
The local audition winners were Bibis Elisabeth Ellison from Carrboro, David Leathers Jr. from Fayetteville and The Ethridge Sisters, a vocal group consisting of Runnette and Danielle from Middlesex, Robin from Lucama and Annette from Raleigh.

The three grand prize winners will each receive a guaranteed audition in front of the producers of THE X FACTOR – Simon Cowell’s brand new singing competition unlike any on television including no upper age limit, different singing categories competing against each other and the biggest grand prize in television history – a $5 million recording contract!
FOX 50 THE X FACTOR AUDITION PASS CONTEST was held Saturday, April 30th at Cary Towne Center. Over 500 local singers auditioned before a panel of judges who included
- Deep South Entertainment co-owner & co-founder Dave Rose,
- singer & songwriter Caitlin Cary,
- journalist, talent scout & musician Brett Chambers,
- TV and film producer David Creech and
- Osceola Recording studios co-owner Dick Hodgin.
