Got the blues? If so, Capitol Broadcasting has joined with Durham Parks and Recreation to present the 7th annual Warehouse Blues Series. The 4-date concert series kicked off on Friday, September 12, 2010. A crowd of several hundred flocked to Durham’s Central Park, including WRAL-TV’s Dave McCorkle.
“The event was great!” he congratulated the Durham CBC staff who helped with the show. “I thought you did a fabulous job!”
McCorkle passed along his praise to capcom and encouraged us to share the scoop about the series. There are still three chances left to enjoy a free evening of blues.

The concerts are held on Sunday evenings from 5pm – 7pm at Durham Central Park (502 Foster Street). The series includes three more Sunday concerts wrapping up on October 3.
The concerts are free and family friendly. Bring your lawn chair, have a picnic and enjoy the blues. Coolers are allowed but alcohol is not permitted. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. See the concert schedule below.
