“What an amazing accomplishment for Miranda. It adds to the excitement level of having her play at our park in October,” Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling said, “This should be a great show for fans in North Carolina.”
The list of nominated categories is impressive:
Nominated For:
- Entertainer of the Year

- Album of the Year – Revolution
- Single of the Year – “The House That Built Me”
- Single of the Year – “White Liar”

The CMA awards will be aired live from Nashville on November 10, less than a month from her tour date in Durham, NC. Popular country recording artists Lady Antebellum received 5 nominations, the Zac Brown Band received 4, as did Miranda Lambert’s fiancé, Blake Shelton.
“I don’t think it gets better than this,” Lambert said in a phone interview with The Associated Press. “It’s been a dream and it’s not even over with. I’ll be sad when 2011 comes because this year has just been one blessing after another. It’s just incredible. I don’t know what it is about now that all this is coming to a head, but I don’t care. I’m just glad it is.”
