The Independent Weekly published their 2010 Best of the Triangle list in the June 9th edition, and several CBC people and places made the list.
WRAL-TV Chief Meterologist Greg Fishel and Anchors David Crabtree & Bill Leslie made the list for the second straight year. Actually, Fishel has been the Best Local Television Personality with Crabtree as a finalist since the category first appeared in 2006.

American Tobacco Restaurants Make Best of the Triangle Several American Tobacco restaurants fared well in the competition:
Tyler’s Restaurant & Taproom was a winner in the Draft Beer Selection and Best Fries categories. Tyler’s was a finalist in these categories: Best Place to Play Pool, Best Bar Food, Best Outdoor Dining in Durham County.
Cuban Revolution made an appearance on the list in the first year of it’s operation. The restaurant was a finalist in the Carribbean Food & the Best New Restaurant in Durham County categories.
Mellow Mushroom ranked as a finalist in the Best Local Pizza category.
