A Change is Underway for WRAZ |
On July 28th at 11:05am, the Certificate of Occupancy was issued by the city of Durham for FOX 50’s office space at the new Diamondview Building, 512 South Mangum Street in downtown Durham. The FOX 50 staff that had been utilizing space at Corporate and at WRAL-TV began an immediate migration to Durham. This was of great relief to the 17 people that were sharing 4 offices at Corporate, and an even greater relief to the WRAL folks who were sharing thier crowded space with the other FOX 50 employees! By the end of the week, most of the FOX 50 employees will be fully situated in their new digs. (Master Control will move from the WRAL site to FOX 50 a couple of weeks later.)
To celebrate the launch of the FOX Network, FOX 50 is hosting a Saturday night party at the new facility for 85 local and out-of-town client advertisers. On August 20th, FOX 50 is hosting an open house from 4 – 7 PM for all CBC employees.
