FOX 50 Launches New Website |
FOX 50, the Triangle’s newest television station, is introducing its new web site, www.fox50.com . The site promises to be as entertaining as the station programming. The web site allows visitors to check out FOX 50 programming information, share their opinions via poll questions, and catch up on the latest news and sports information. Visitors can also listen to news in Real Audio, view the extended weather forecast, and get information on the latest FOX promotions
Children can log on at www.fox50.com and join the Triangle’s newest Kid’s Club, the Fox 50 Kids Club. Fox50.com is an excellent entertainment and information resource for the Triangle community. New features will be added to the web site in coming months, including Kid’s Club games, more contests, and recommendations for fun, family outings. “We see Fox50.com as a natural extension of our television programming,” said Tommy Schenck, WRAZ General Manager.
Dan Metz, Web Designer for the FOX site, said, “In designing and building FOX 50’s new web site, we tried to create a site that would “talk” to the online user. If web surfers register with the site, it will actually greet them personally! Also, it was important to create a site that carries as much visual impact and sophistication as FOX 50 does, while still remaining an easy download for modem users.”
FOX 50 is operated by Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc. Fox50.com is a production of Capitolnet Marketing Group, a division of Capitol Broadcasting Company. Capitolnet Marketing Group, www.capitolnet.com, specializes in creative Internet solutions, including web development, advertising, and multimedia services.
