Durham Bulls Receive Legacy Keeper Award

The Durham Bulls Baseball Club received the Legacy Keeper Award to Outstanding Corporate Sponsor from the St. Joseph’s Historic Foundation during their second annual Spirit of Hayti awards ceremony on March 23, 2000. The Spirit of Hayti Awards are presented to individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions through excellence in leadership and community outreach to the arts, historic preservation and education in the Durham community.

The Durham Bulls were chosen as this year’s recipient of the Award because of their unwavering support of the Foundation’s many ventures, including the Bull Durham Blues Festival that has been in Durham for 13 years.

CBC president and CEO Jim Goodmon accepted the award on behalf of the Durham Bulls.
