Annual Tower Lighting Set For WRAL-TV |
The lighting of the 300 ft. tower outside our station is a tradition WRAL-TV is proud to continue. On Friday, December 1, Greg Fishel will countdown live to the lighting of almost 3000 colored lights on WRAL’s 2 year-old tower just before 6:00pm. SKY5 will
capture the moment from the air while seventy-five choir members from Mac Williams Middle School in Fayetteville entertain our viewers during the 5:00, 5:30, and 6:00 news.
This is the third year WRAL’s new tower has donned the colored lights. Three five foot stars serve as a topper for the 300-foot tower-turned-Christmas tree. In May, this tower won a community appearance award from the Citizen’s Advisory Council of Raleigh.
