Bulls To Take On Devil Rays In Exhibition Game |
The Durham Bulls, the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, will take on its parent team in a preseason exhibition game on March 30 at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The Bulls will kick off a season-long celebration of their 100th Anniversary with the match-up.
The teams will meet for only the second time in the two teams’ five-year history together in the exhibition game. The Bulls last took on the Devil Rays in 1998, at an exhibition game signaling the Bulls entry into Triple-A in 1998. Last season, 24 players spent time with both the Durham Bulls and Tampa Bay Devil Rays, including International League MVP Toby Hall.
The Bulls will begin regular season play for the 2002 schedule on Thursday, April 4, at the Richmond Braves.
