Bulls and Downtown Durham To Host Pre-game Party |
In Downtown Durham the last Thursday of every month from April to August, office workers, city dwellers and pleasure seekers gather on the streets for a free concert. Durham Alive features a top 40s band on the Durham Civic Center Plaza, food and prizes. Thursday, July 26th will be Durham Bulls Night at the monthly event.
From 5:30-7:30pm Durham Bulls fans can enjoy the music of the Assorted Party Nuts just outside the historic Carolina Theater. Drawings for a Durham Bulls autographed baseball, tickets for the evening’s game and other prizes will be held. All food and beverage sales at the event will benefit the Durham Jaycees.
After the band packs up and heads home, fans can take the Bulls Trolley over to see the Bulls take on the Rochester Red Wings on the baseball diamond.
