These YMCA’s set a goal of $2.4 million for the 2001 campaign, with a victory celebration planned for March 2002. A host of business leaders from the Triangle area are heading the campaigns at the individual YMCAs throughout the central part of the state.
The Capital Area YMCA, Garner Road YMCA and YMCA of Greater Durham work together to provide financial assistance and outreach programs to more than 7,000 children and families throughout the central North Carolina community. That added up to $3 million in donated services last year.
The YMCA dedicates itself to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
