Pelicans Launch Lunch Tour |
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans have announced a new program that started last Friday, January 24, 2003, with the Atlanta Bread Company located at 7611 North King’s Highway (Sayebrook Village). From 11:30 am-1 pm, representatives from the Pelicans’ staff were on hand to conduct a raffle for a personalized Pelicans’ Jersey while promoting and answering questions about the 2003 season.
“I can’t think of a better way to spread the word about all of the great things that we have planned for the 2003 season than getting out into the community,” said Matt O’Brien, General Manager. “If this is as successful as I think it can be, than we’ll be looking at how we can expand and build upon it in the future.”
The Lunch Tour will continue every Friday through the course of the 2003 season at various restaurants in the Grand Strand Area. The Tour will be heading to both the North Myrtle Beach and the Surfside locations of the Atlanta Bread Company in the next few weeks.
Any fans stopping by will have the opportunity to fill out a registration card for a chance to win a personalized Pelicans’ Jersey as well as pick up information for 2003 Season Ticket Packages and Mini-Plans.
