Capitol Broadcasting Company Hires McGrath as New CFO

Daniel P. McGrath has been elected as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Capitol Broadcasting Company, the diversified communications company that owns local entities such as WRAL-TV, MIX 101.5, and the Durham Bulls. The announcement was made today by Jim Goodmon, President and CEO of Capitol Broadcasting.
In making the announcement, Goodmon stated, “Dan will be a great complement to our talented management team, with his extensive financial and business experience from both here in Raleigh and in the nation’s capitol.”
McGrath most recently served as VP, CFO and Treasurer for Enterworks, Inc., a venture-backed E-business software company headquartered in suburban Washington, DC. He previously served as VP of Finance for Enterworks’ former parent company, Telos Corporation, a $200 million diversified Information Technology company. McGrath began his career with Price Waterhouse, with a total of eleven years in both Raleigh and Washington, DC. He received a BBA with a concentration in accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
McGrath currently lives in Raleigh with wife, Anne, and children, Taylor, age 6 and Michael, age 3.
