|Pelicans Invite Registration for 2004 Baseball Camps|
The Pelicans will offer baseball camps again in 2004, with an interesting twist. In addition to the youth camps, the first annual Women’s Baseball Clinic will be offered on June 19th. Sponsored by Her Body & Soul/WPDE TV 15, the camp will feature talks by female sports personalities, players wives, on-field instruction and more. Campers will also walk away with a cool goodie bag, featuring the inaugural Women’s Camp t-shirt and more and enjoy an autograph session, light dinner and ticket to the game that night. Limited to the first 150 participants, the camp is $50 per person and will run from 1 – 4 pm. The camp was originally scheduled for early May, but due to a rain out, the camp will now be held on June 19th.
Youth camps are also being offered in the upcoming season. A one day camp will be held on June 22nd from 9am to noon, and a three day camp is scheduled for July 14-16 from 9 am to 12 noon. The one day camp is $50 and the three day camp is $135. Both camps feature hands-on instruction from Pelicans players and coaches, a great goody bag with a camp t-shirt and more, autograph sessions, lunch after the camp each day and a ticket to the game.
