Explorer Post 5 Wins News Awards |
The National Student Television Award of Excellence Awards are in, and WRAL-TV’s Explorer Post 5 made the list. Post 5 received an honorable mention in the news category for their “Local Music Venues” production.
These regional awards are presented by the National Television Academy, an organization committed to inspiring the next generation of broadcast journalists, educating television viewers and advancing television best practices.
The Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences ranked second in the country in entries, which included the WRAL Explorer Post 5 submission.
Other local winners included Enloe High School Eagle Productions and Fuquay-Varina High School.
