Pelicans Launch New “Print Your Tickets At Home” Program |
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans kicked their team technology into high gear this week when they announced that fans can now order AND print game tickets right from home. The new feature on the team website at http://www.myrtlebeachpelicans.com/ will give interested fans even more flexibility when purchasing game tickets. Prior to this launch, fans could order tickets online but had to pick them up at the Will Call booth before the game. Now they can receive a confirmation email that will allow them to print out their own tickets to be scanned at the ballpark gates.
Director of Retail and Ticket Operations Richard Graves is excited to give Pelican fans this new convenience. “We are always striving to find ways to make our organization more fan friendly as well as keep up with the ever changing technology”, stated Graves. “The Pelican’s have always taken pride in our efforts to expand the team’s use of the internet with our popular website and constant growth of merchandise and ticket sales through web orders. I believe we have taken our internet use to the next level by giving the fans the option of printing their own tickets at home and alleviating the need to stand in line at will call. I believe this is a great opportunity to strengthen the fan’s overall experience visiting the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.”
Pelican fans can still order tickets for upcoming games by visiting the ballpark box office or by calling (843) 918-6000.
